My Story
After working for nearly a decade at some of Boston's largest architecture & development firms, I had gained incredible experience working on a variety of project types and scales - from high rise office towers, to tenant fit-outs, high-end amenity centers & lobbies, multifamily residential, and everything in between.
Sometimes the project teams were huge having collaborations with some of the city’s best engineering firms, owner’s representatives, specialty design consultants, and contractors. And other times the teams were just a couple people.
Getting to see projects from all sides of the table, whether as an architect, an owner, a project manager, or developer gave me insight into the unique challenges that my clients face as they embark on their projects.
But something was missing…
As I was working for large companies, and my clients were also large companies, it began to feel a little faceless at times. I was missing the human aspect of it all.
Now in my ‘second act’ after starting Grace Stone Design in 2020…
It's this client relationship that I value most when working on any project, and why I decided to start Grace Stone Design. To strip away the barriers and impersonality that come with large-scale corporate work. And to be able to work hand in hand with individuals and small business owners like you, on a person-to-person scale, to bring your goals into reality. Understanding these projects are deeply personal to you, your family, and your goals for your future. This is the work I love, guiding clients like you from beginning to end, as you create your future.
